Driving Directions from S. Fair Oaks Ave:  Across from Burger King, turn into a tunnel under the Huntington Pavilion. Drive across the courtyard into a parking garage. The rate for the garage is $1 per 15 minutes up to a maximum of $6. Free parking is on Fair Oaks or nearby cross streets. Walking from the garage, go left and enter the Huntington Pavilion North first-floor lobby. Walk to the right and take the elevators to the third floor.

Walking Directions from Fillmore Station:  Walk down the ramp and at the bottom go right, crossing the tracks to Fillmore St. Walk to Fair Oaks Ave. Go right, two blocks, to California Blvd. Walk left to our building.

Walking Directions from the Bus: Heading south on Fair Oaks Ave., the California Blvd. bus stop is in front of our building.  Heading north, the stop is down the street. Walk to the intersection with California and our building.

Southern California Neurology Consultants are happy to accept patients by referral or without a referral according to your healthcare insurance plan.   Appointment times are based on medical need and patient convenience.   All minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to be treated by our physicians.   We ask all new patients or patients who have not been seen at our office within the past 12 months to please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their appointment times. 

Getting Ready for Your Visit

In order for us to provide the best care for you, it is very important that you bring the following items to your visit:

  • Photo ID
  • A list of your current medications
  • Any and all MRI and CT scans (Films and/or CDs)
  • Insurance information and card
  • Information about treatments and medications tried in the past
  • Medical records from prior visits that you think may be helpful
  • New Patients: please download the patient registration forms for the doctor you are visiting below, fill out the forms, and bring them with you on the day of your visit

A Neurological Examination assesses motor and sensory skills, the functioning of one or more cranial nerves, hearing and speech, vision, coordination and balance, mental status, and changes in mood or behavior, among other abilities. Items used in an examination  include a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff,  tuning fork, flashlight, reflex hammer, and opthalmoscope.  Some tests require the services of a specialist to perform and analyze results and will take place on another visit.
